The Steamboat Springs Arts Council is proud to present a collection of new works by Jan Maret Willman reflecting the 4 elements of force:
FIRE ~ superconscious; spirit, limitless light, force, drive, will
WATER ~ subconscious; emotion, balance, reflection, silence
WIND ~ waking consciousness; breath, thought, intellect
EARTH~ life force; form, manifestation, birth, death
"I have long been a student and observer of universal elements, namely, the 4 fundamental substances or constituents known as FIRE, WATER, WIND, and EARTH. In my life, these 4 elements and their powers are reflected intimately in my deep personal philosophy. My vision in my art is to capture the essence of the forces contained within these 4 elements, and convey that energetic force to the canvas." Jan Maret Wilman
